NTU’s thermal manikins can simulate human body temperature changes and heat loss during daily activities, accurately testing under controlled temperature and humidity conditions. Equipped with an internal heating system to maintain constant body temperature and sensors to collect surface temperature, heat flux, and moisture data, the manikins realistically reproduce human thermal responses when wearing clothing. This technology provides reliable data support for evaluating the insulation, breathability, and moisture management performance of textile materials and garments.
